In a first, Bajaj Auto has overtaken Ather to grab the third spot in the list of most regiestered electric two-wheeler (E2W) OEMs in India during October 2023. The legacy OEM registered 8972 E2Ws against 7097. Bajaj has been growing steadily in the market since June 2023.
Ather, on the other hand, slipped to fourth position, as it was able to register 8335 units in October 2023. However, Month-on-Month, the brand grew from 7153 units in September 2023.
Hero MotoCorp is another noticeable change in the top 10 list, as the OEM registered 1923 E2W scooters in October 2023. This represents a significant change as the company had only registered 532. This is also the first time that the company has breached the 1,000 mark in India.

Ola Electric continues to maintain the lead. Against 18693 units it registered in September 2023, a total of 23781 electric scooters were registered during October 2023. Similarly, TVS Motor Company, with 16370 unit registrations during October 2023, also maintained its second position in the list. The OEM had registered 15588 units during September 2023.
Greaves also posted a healthy growth as it registered 4167 units in October 2023 against 3612 units in September 2023.
Okinawa’s toltal registrations slipped from 1790 to 1474 in November 2023. The company’s registrations have been on a constant decline since January 2023. Hero Electric could not make it to the list of top 10 E2W OEMs in India during November 2023.
WardWizard, whose sales have been growing constantly, grew from 690 in September 2023 to 907 units in November 2023.
