Deploying advanced solutions to meet growing demand, Nokia partners with Ishan Technologies to enhance broadband services in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Nokia has recently announced its partnership with Ishan Technologies to enhance broadband services across Gujarat and Maharashtra, deploying its networking solutions to meet the region’s growing demand for high-speed internet.
As part of the collaboration, Nokia will implement its Altiplano Software-Defined Access Network (SDAN), IP/MPLS transport network, and data centre switching solutions, enabling Ishan Technologies to provide reliable, fast broadband services to both retail and enterprise clients.
Nokia’s products and services, including Optical Line Terminals (OLTs) and Optical Network Terminals (ONTs), will be deployed to enhance the network. Additionally, Nokia will support the Ishan team through training programmes to ensure they can independently manage and maintain the new solutions.
The upgrade will also include data centre enhancements in Mumbai and Chennai, reinforcing the partnership’s long-term goals.
While the financial details of the deal remain undisclosed, Ishan Technologies aims to modernise its infrastructure to meet the growing demand for cloud-based services, future-proof its network, and automate operations like service activation, improving service delivery, reducing costs, and enhancing customer experience.
“Our enhanced infrastructure will benefit our 256,000 subscribers, introducing gigabit broadband services for the small and medium enterprises and corporate customers,” noted Dr Keyur Jathal, Director and CMO at Ishan Technologies, expressing his delight on the deal.
Jivitesh Nayal, Head of Emerging Business for Network Infrastructure at Nokia India, highlighted that the partnership reflects Nokia’s commitment to digital transformation in India.
