Indian technology services and consulting company, Wipro Limited recently announced that they would be entering into a new five-year strategic partnership with the Finland-based multinational, networking, telecommunications and consumer electronics company Nokia. The latest strategic partnership is an extension, which builds upon the partnership which was originally established about two decades ago, and is evidence of the strength of the strategic partnership of over 20 years.
“We have selected Wipro as our long-term partner to support Nokia GBS’ service delivery transformation over the next five years. This marks a significant milestone in our journey aimed at delivering tangible benefits to Nokia Business Groups through a unified service desk, seamless service integration, improved transparency and performance of GBS,” said Rod Lindsay, Vice President, Global Business Services, Nokia.

According to the terms of the partnership, Wipro will aim to deliver global business services for Nokia’s newly renewed operation model, which mainly focuses on process optimisation, touchless processing and an improvement and enhancement of user and customer experience for the overall order management supply chain, finance, and accounting operations. For Nokia, this symbolises a major action towards the digitalisation of its operations by utilising Wipro’s unique transformation and innovation capacities. Wipro has long been focused on technical assistance and consulting, and resolutions that can manage complex digital transformation needs.
