Neuron Energy has partnered with Mufin Green Finance-supported Urja Mobility to provide battery leasing solutions for commercial electric vehicles (EVs). Under this agreement, Urja Mobility will procure battery packs from Neuron Energy, leased to 3Eco for their electric vehicle initiative.
3Eco is known for its hyper-local connectivity solutions designed to enhance last-mile delivery services for various e-commerce companies.
From March 2024 until the end of next year, Neuron Energy has committed to supplying 2,400 battery packs for electric vehicles in the L5 category and 10,000 battery packs for electric vehicles in the L3 category.
This collaboration is anticipated to generate a revenue of approximately Rs 100 crore for Neuron Energy, encompassing both L3 and L5 categories.
Neuron Energy has maintained a long-standing partnership with 3EV for the past 30 months, providing over a thousand battery packs in use within their fleet across multiple cities. 3Eco operates its captive fleet in major metropolitan areas such as Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Coimbatore.
Pratik Kamdar, CEO and Co-founder of Neuron Energy, mentioned that the empowerment enables 3EV and 3Eco to concentrate solely on production and last-mile delivery, facilitating significant volume growth.
Pankaj Chopra, Founder of Urja Mobility, remarked that the collaboration allows them to transform Capex into Smart Opex, offering flexible lease terms ranging from 12 to 36 months. He noted the evolution of 3Eco Systems from a last-mile operator to a Logistics Player and praised their focus on local thinking and operational efficiency. Chopra expressed his eagerness to collaborate with them and Neuron Energy to promote sustainable solutions in the EV industry.
