In April 2012, Axis Communications added new cameras to its AXIS M11 Network Camera series.

The Axis M11 Network Camera series with built-in IR-LED illumination are ideal for discovering objects in a range of up to 15 metres (50 ft), even in complete darkness. The Axis M11-L Network Camera series includes both an SVGA resolution camera model and an HDTV model providing 720p video at full frame rate.
