- Gennep site easily connects Murata to the major airports and crucial ports
Murata has chosen Arvato to operate its central distribution center for the EMEA region at the Gennep site, Netherlands.
This Gennep site easily connects Murata to the European highway network. Major airports such as Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Liège, and Maastricht, as well as crucial ports like Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg, and Bremen, are easily accessible.
Moreover, as several parcel service providers operate their primary transhipment hubs in the vicinity, it allows for the seamless integration of incoming goods into the inventory. This streamlined process ensures swift distribution, enabling deliveries to reach the majority of Murata’s European customers in just one to two days.
“We are excited to join forces with Arvato in this strategic partnership, setting new industry standards in logistics excellence,” said Bert Heerink, Director Supply Chain management at Murata Electronics Europe. “With Arvato’s automation expertise and our shared commitment to sustainability, we are confident that this endeavor will deliver unparalleled value to our customers while minimising our environmental impact.”
