MPSEDC and IESA join forces to revolutionise Madhya Pradesh’s electronic and semiconductor sector, boosting PCB design, component manufacturing, and semiconductor assembly, expanding electronic business services.
Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (MPSEDC) and the Indian Electronics Semiconductor Association (IESA) have signed a significant memorandum of understanding (MoU) to boost the Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) ecosystem in Madhya Pradesh.
The MoU, signed in the presence of Shri Mohan Yadav, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, outlines a strategic partnership to advance electronic business services, printed circuit board (PCB) design and manufacturing, electronic components production, and semiconductor assembly, testing, marking, and packaging (ATMP).
This collaboration seeks to propel Madhya Pradesh into a key player in India’s ESDM sector, contributing to the national goal of a $500 billion market by 2030.
The agreement includes joint efforts in policy formulation, hosting technical seminars, and establishing training programs, all aimed at enhancing the electronic and semiconductor industry in Madhya Pradesh.
It also aims to promote Madhya Pradesh’s initiatives among IESA members and industry partners and assist in the development of Electronic Manufacturing Clusters (EMCs) and Centers of Excellence (COEs).
The initiative is expected to attract substantial investment, create job opportunities, and establish Madhya Pradesh as a growing hub in the Indian electronics and semiconductor industry, driving rapid industrial development in the region.
