The Madhya Pradesh State Electronic Development Corporation Limited (MPSEDC) is planning to invite expression of interest (EoI) by this week for upcoming IT park located at the electronic complex.
According to M Silvendran, director, MPSEDC, the state is planning to speed up the project and to make it operational before Global Investors Summit (GIS) which starts on October 22, 2016. Recently, Indore has developed its image as an emerging IT hub and the state believes this would act as a platform for city-based firms and create an identity for them.
Spread over an area of 1.47 lakh square feet at the electronic complex area, the IT park aims to boost electronic software design and manufacturing (ESDM) sector in state. The structure consists of five floors (ground plus five) with each floor covering an area of 20,000 square feet.
Electronics investment are sought after by every state with the central government providing number of incentives for those companies who are setting up electronic manufacturing in the country.
The IT Park is aimed at generating employment for 2,000 techies and is slated to become operational before the GIS. There will be positions for non-technical professionals in the IT park.
