The company aims to expand its electric vehicle lineup to six models by the end of 2024 with the launch of the EQA 250+ and EQB 350 five-seater battery electric vehicles (BEVs), ensuring a BEV option that meets every customer’s preferences and needs.
Mercedes-Benz India is appealing to young, eco-conscious trendsetters and active families by adding two new Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) to its international lineup. The EQA 250+ is priced at INR 66 lakh and the five-seater EQB 350 SUV is available for INR 77.5 lakh, both prices being all India ex-showroom.
These luxury BEVs boast features such as extended range, daily usability, dynamic driving, cost-effectiveness, and high residual value, enhancing the company’s offerings significantly.
With these introductions, Mercedes-Benz is advancing its electric vehicle strategy in India, aiming to present six elite BEV models by year-end. By the end of 2024, it plans to provide a BEV for every market segment, from the EQA 250+ to the opulent EQS Maybach SUV. Moreover, the company is actively developing a widespread charging infrastructure across its dealer network, offering both DC Fast and Ultra-Fast Charging stations (60 kW and 180 kW), as well as a complimentary AC wall box charger with each BEV purchase.
EQA 250+ Highlights:
The EQA 250+ integrates ‘Progressive Design’ with ‘Intuitive Technology’, offering an electrified Mercedes-Benz experience tailored for modern users. It features an ‘Electric Art’ package that includes a star-pattern grille, 19-inch light alloy wheels, and a continuous light strip, enhancing its stylish and progressive design. The interior is adorned with rosé gold highlights and a futuristic backlit trim, providing a luxurious atmosphere.
EQB 350 4MATIC Highlights:
Now available in a five-seater version, the EQB 350 4MATIC features the AMG Line exterior, luxurious interior enhancements, and the latest MBUX Gen 2 technology. This includes improved voice control, augmented reality navigation, and advanced driving assistance features, setting a new standard in the luxury BEV category. The model also showcases significant updates such as an extended range of up to 447 kilometres, aerodynamic improvements, and a high-quality Burmester Surround Sound System with Dolby Atmos.
Mercedes-Benz Financial Services simplifies ownership with the Star Agility program, offering accessible finance options, including a 20% down payment and competitive EMIs. The EQA 250+ boasts a guaranteed buy-back value and is estimated to save owners approximately INR 240,000 over four years compared to its ICE counterpart.
