Littelfuse, Inc. has released its fourth annual Sustainability Report. This comprehensive report underscores Littelfuse’s commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, showcasing significant progress and the company’s ongoing dedication to sustainability. Key environmental achievements highlighted in the 2023 Sustainability Report include a 24% reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) intensity since 2019, with 46% of manufacturing sites now utilizing renewable energy. Additionally, Littelfuse has seen a 37% increase in water recycling and a three-year consecutive reduction in hazardous waste. These milestones underscore the company’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices.
Socially, Littelfuse has made strides in enhancing diversity and workplace safety. The company reported that 22.5% of leadership positions are now held by females, marking a 1.5% increase from the previous year. Furthermore, three Littelfuse sites have maintained zero workplace injuries for over three consecutive years, reflecting the company’s strong focus on employee well-being and safety.
On the governance front, Littelfuse launched a Local Ethics Ambassadors program at its 28 largest locations, delivering 30,200 hours of ethics and compliance training. The company received a Gold rating from EcoVadis, placing it in the 94th percentile for sustainability performance. Littelfuse also obtained third-party verified GHG data and enhanced its workplace investigation program and training, demonstrating a robust commitment to ethical governance and transparency.
