Tuesday, December 03, 2013: LG India’s B2B division is reportedly targeting business worth Rs 10 billion in 2014. According to reports, the B2B division accounts for 5 per cent of LG India’s revenues with products like commercial displays, surveillance solutions and projectors. According to a crn.in report, Hemendu Sinha, head, B2B Sales, LG India, said, “We will grow 100 per cent from Rs 3.5 billion in 2012 to Rs 7 billion in the current fiscal.”
Further, the report said that the company is expecting 60 per cent of the contribution from commercial displays. These include interactive televisions, video walls and digital signage. The rest of the revenues are expected from surveillance solutions and projectors. LG will also increase the focus on IP-based products and cameras with built-in analytics in the surveillance segment, said Sinha.
Further, Sinha also told crn.in that he expects surveillance and projectors to each account for 15 per cent of the company’s revenues in the next fiscal year. According to the executive, LG is the leading producer in the LED projector market and has plans to launch 1,000-lumen LED projectors.
The B2B division of LG is also looking to increase its current channel base of 250 partners. The company is looking to double this base.
