Launched at hefty price tags, JBL PartyBox 200 and JBL PartyBox 300 fall among the category of expensive wireless speakers in India
Harman International and Samsung announced the launch of its latest range of wireless speakers – JBL PartyBox 200 and JBL PartyBox 300 compact audio systems in India. Targeted at music enthusiasts, Harman International has priced JBL PartyBox 200 in India at Rs. 32,499, while the price for JBL PartyBox 300 in the country has been set at Rs. 35,999.
“For even larger sound, connect two speakers to create an amplified listening experience. PartyBox has a USB input, allowing anyone to connect their playlist directly via a USB drive,” the company said.
The hefty price tags makes these latest JBL Bluetooth audio systems fall among the category of expensive wireless speakers in India. Both the variants are already available on JBL India website and company’s retail channels, including 350 Samsung brand stores, the company said in a statement.
Difference in JBL PartyBox 200, PartyBox 300 prices on different platforms
One of India’s leading e-commerce portals is currently offering the JBL PartyBox 300 at Rs 32,990. JBL PartyBox 200 is retailing at a price of Rs 27,990 on the same e-commerce portal. However, the JBL India website is currently offering JBL PartyBox 200 at Rs 27,499 and JBL PartyBox 300 at Rs 31,499.
Some Samsung stores in Delhi-NCR said that JBL PartyBox 200 and JBL PartyBox 300 have not arrived at their shops for retail yet. They also had no idea about the prices.
JBL PartyBox 200, PartyBox 300 features
JBl claims that the PartyBox 200 and PartyBox 300 not only offer Bluetooth connectivity but are also integrated with True Wireless Stereo (TWS). TWS function, as per the company allows users to connect two JBL PartyBox speakers together. The company is also claiming that users can also connect two speakers by putting one RCA output to another.
Equipped with inputs for mic and guitar, both JBL PartyBox 200 and PartyBox 300 Bluetooth speakers boost inbuilt lights with pulse, party and meter modes. JBL says that the in-built 10,000 mAH battery promises up to 18 hours of playtime.
The rechargeable battery on the PartyBox 300 can provide up to 18 hours of playtime. It can be powered up by plugging in to a 12V DC source or using the built-in 10,000mAh battery.
