Inox Wind receives 200 MW orders for 3 MW WTGs in Gujarat and Rajasthan, expanding its presence in the renewable energy sector with turnkey execution and O&M services.
On Tuesday, July 9th, Inox Wind announced it has secured an order for a 200 MW wind energy project from a renewable Commercial & Industrial power producer. The project will be strategically executed across the states of Gujarat and Rajasthan, regions known for their substantial wind energy potential. The order is for Inox Wind Ltd latest 3 MW (each) Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), and the scope comprises end-to-end turnkey execution. Additionally, Inox Wind will provide post-commissioning multi-year operations & maintenance (O&M) services.
This order solidifies Inox Wind’s position as a leading player in the renewable energy sector and highlights its continuous commitment to advancing wind energy infrastructure in India. The company’s latest 3 MW WTGs are designed to deliver higher efficiency and reliability, promising enhanced performance for large-scale wind projects.
Inox Wind recently finalised an infusion of approximately 9 billion into the company by its promoter, Inox Wind Energy Limited (IWEL). IWEL raised these funds on May 28, 2024, by selling equity shares of IWL through block deals on stock exchanges, with participation from prominent investors. Inox Wind will use the capital to repay its external term debt fully and achieve a debt-free status.
