May 2, 2015: A Joint Statement made on the 30th day of April, 2015 between the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of India and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan for cooperation in the field of Information & Communication Technology and Electronics. The Joint Statement was signed by Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Minister of Communication & Information Technology, India and H.E. Mr. Yoichi Miyazawa, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan today at a ceremony held in New Delhi.
This Joint Statement shared the view of both countries that could create win-win situation in IT and Electronic manufacturing field where Japanese manufacturing and Indian IT business can have synergy. Furthermore, in new frontier of IT such as Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data, high skilled Indian IT engineer and entrepreneurs can boost Indian and Japanese companies’ creative business activities and promote innovation.
