Aiming to develop lighter and more stable drones, Indian producer Magic Myna has incorporated a Dassault Systèmes’ cloud platform, 3DEXPREIENCE.
Paris-based Dassault Systèmes has revealed that Indian drone manufacturer Magic Myna has adopted its 3DEXPERIENCE cloud platform to enhance its design and development processes.
With this, the drone-maker aims to optimise the design of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for various sectors, including healthcare, agriculture, and logistics. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform supports collaborative design, simulation, and data management, leading to faster development cycles and higher product quality.
Although no financial information was disclosed, Magic Myna highlighted the platform’s user-friendly interface and advanced simulation features, which have accelerated their development of lighter, more stable drones. It focuses on custom drones but faced challenges like limited flight time and development costs earlier.
Sunil S. Nair, the company’s co-founder, stated that this technology will position them as a leader in the Indian drone industry and thanked Bengaluru-based visual solutions provider EDS Technologies for its crucial implementation support.
Deepak NG, Managing Director of its Indian branch, explained that the 3DEXPERIENCE platform aids in designing products, managing processes, interacting with customers, and simulating sustainable practices in various industry segments.
Dassault Systèmes serves various sectors, including manufacturing, infrastructure, and life sciences. Its Indian manufacturing clients include major companies such as Havells and automaker Mahindra & Mahindra. Its infrastructure clients include Jindal Stainless, while in life sciences and healthcare, it serves companies such as LUCID Implants.
