The office of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in India – a directorate attached to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry – has approved a proposal by Reliance Infrastructure to establish a major military aerospace industrial complex in Nagpur, central India.
The SEZ office has said in published minutes of a SEZ meeting on 3 July that it has cleared the Reliance proposal forwarded by its subsidiary Reliance Aerostructures Limited (RAL) to set up industrial facilities and services in Nagpur over an initial area of 104 acres.
