The company, in collaboration with EvateTech, has launched the VaaS (Vehicle as a Service) and BaaS (Battery as a Service) pricing models, offering them with no initial costs and variable subscription rates.
iGowise Mobility (iGo), a startup specialising in smart mobility solutions, is set to launch its new heavy-duty electric pickup trike, BeiGo, this Diwali. Designed specifically for the quick commerce sector, BeiGo is aimed at enhancing the delivery capabilities of eCommerce platforms through a strategic rider-to-owner model. This initiative includes partnerships with key players like BBNow, Flipkart Minutes, and Swiggy Instamart. Over the next 18 months, iGo plans to roll out 6,000 units of BeiGo, backed by collaboration with various service providers, EV OEMs, and financial entities.
In an innovative approach to make these electric vehicles more accessible, iGo has introduced pricing models such as Vehicle as a Service (VaaS) and Battery as a Service (BaaS) in collaboration with EvateTech. These models aim to reduce upfront costs for users, offering flexible subscription fees and potentially boosting the earnings of delivery partners to up to INR 40,000 per month.
The BeiGo trike is distinguished by its dual battery system, providing a range of up to 150 kilometres and a top speed of 70 KMPH. Available in two variants, one features a 3.6 kWh ultra-durable LMFP battery and the other a premium 4.4 kWh dual-pack. Each variant is backed by a 4-year unlimited kilometre warranty under the iGo-Care package and boasts features like swift 2-hour home charging and compatibility with faster charging options.
Unique to BeiGo is its smart capabilities, including an on-demand self-balancing system, dual-wheel powertrain, and a triple-disc-brake CBS system. iGo, through its four years of research and development, has secured 12 patents and commits to a 48-hour turnaround for service issues, highlighting its focus on service quality.
The pre-booking for BeiGo starts this Diwali in Bengaluru, available through iGo’s website and major eCommerce platforms. iGo also emphasizes inclusivity, collaborating with NGOs to ensure that at least 30% of their delivery fleet are women, and exploring further partnerships to expand both domestically and internationally.
The introduction of BeiGo is a significant step towards meeting the electrification goals of the logistics and eCommerce sectors, promising enhanced efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and improved well-being and safety for riders.
