Home appliances major, Haier, has launched an all-new range of Bottom Mounted (BM), Top Mounted (TM) and Direct Cool refrigerators ahead of this festive season. To further extend its reach, the company has come up with the latest appliances considering the modern kitchen décor of Indian households and keeping up with the country’s festive fervour.
Commenting on the launch, Eric Braganza, President, Haier Appliances, India, said, “India is an important market for us and we believe in developing superior quality products to meet the needs of the Indian consumers.” He added that the new models were introduced to showcase Haier’s commitment and legacy that was based on customer-inspired innovation.
Haier’s features and price
The Bottom and Top Mounted refrigerators are available in spiral glass finish while the Direct Cool Refrigerators come in both spiral and wave glass styles. Haier’s BM refrigerators have an innovative 8 IN 1 convertible feature which allows users to convert the freezer into a fridge or back to a freezer within a time span of just 50 minutes. These also provide a wide capacity ranging from 256 to 345 litres.
Additional features like the twin inverter technology automatically adjust the cooling efficiency of the refrigerator. Its turbo icing technology makes ice faster. The refreshed range of BMRs comes with a warranty of 10 years on the compressor and fan motor on all its premium models.
The top mounted ones come with trendsetter refrigerator features of energy saving and retention modes that help users save energy and maintain the cooling retention. Haier’s Direct cool refrigerators have heavy-duty compressors for faster cooling and limited annual power consumption. With the thickest PUF insulation of 6.5 cm, the refrigerators can provide effective and efficient cooling throughout.
The direct cooling refrigerators are priced within Rs. 25,000. The top mounted ones come at Rs. 34500 and Rs. 37000 while the bottom mounted ones are available within Rs. 35,000-50,000 range.
