The Genset range ushers in a new era of sustainability for the Indian power generation industry.
Greaves Engineering, the engineering division of Greaves Cotton Limited (GCL), has launched its innovative range of CPCB IV+ Compliant Gensets. These gensets, which adhere to the latest standards set by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), are designed to meet the increasing consumer demand for high-performance and sustainable power solutions. They are available across our diverse product portfolio, ranging from 5 kVA to 500 kVA in the < 800 kW segment.
The introduction of the new CPCB IV+ compliant range of gensets is a significant step in Greaves Engineering’s journey towards providing cutting-edge power solutions that are both environmentally responsible and operationally robust. This new CPCB regulation is a pivotal strategic move, guiding the industry towards a more sustainable trajectory and aligning with India’s aspiration to achieve net zero status by 2070.
Additionally, Greaves Engineering provides gensets that use biodiesel and ethanol. Their deep-skirted crankcase design ensures a lightweight yet robust construction, which reduces maintenance costs and enhances portability. Engineered to operate smoothly in temperatures ranging from -5°C to 50°C, they stand out as silent performers for their noise-free experience.
CPCB IV+ compliant gensets produce approximately 90% less NOx and particulate matter (PM), reducing greenhouse gas emissions and marking a significant milestone in Greaves Engineering’s pursuit of powering India sustainably in the < 800 kW segment. Greaves also offers gensets from 1010 kVA up to 2500 kVA.
Previously, Greaves Engineering helped power India’s progress across sectors such as malls, manufacturing, realty (residential and commercial), infrastructure, railways, airports, hospitals, BFSI, educational institutions, petrol stations, data centres, sports facilities, government facilities, warehousing, temples, and more.
