Government bags electronics manufacturing proposal worth Rs 150,000 million

electronicsclusterWednesday, December 10, 2014: The government has bagged the proposal for electronics manufacturing from the companies like Panasonic , Continental, Bosch , Samsung, Motherson Sumi , Sonic and Tata Power of worth Rs 150,00 million.

After the launch of Digital India campaign, the Indian government has received over fifty proposals for distinctive resources like automotive electronics, consumer appliances and strategic electronics. It has also provided an in-principle approval for establishing 10 electronics cluster with investment of almost Rs 50000 million via PPP.
