The government has given its approval to set up three solar power plants in Deoghar district. As part of the proposal approved, land plots in the size of 8.98 acres, 3.81 acres and 8 acres of GM land in Mohanpur circle have been given to PCS Premier Energy Pvt Ltd Hyderabad, Enertech Engineering Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad and Saimeg Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, respectively. They are now allowed to set up the plants on lease basis.
The companies mentioned above will have to pay `282,870 (plus cess), `120,015 (plus cess) and `240,000 (plus additional charges) respectively. The lease agreement is initially for a period of 30 years and will be up for renewal after the first term ends.
Besides, the government has also given its nod to set up a power substation (400/220 KV) in West Singhbhum district on a land area of 8.44 acres. The substation will be set up by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) at a lease amount of `6,481,920 (plus additional charges), Daily Pioneer report stated.
