Wednesday, April 30, 2014: Google is clearly on a patent acquiring spree these days. In a latest, the search engine giant has now acquired the communication patents from Foxconn, one of the leading electronics contractor manufacturer.
According to a CNET report, Foxconn made the announcement that it has sold an unspecified number of communications technology patents to Google. However, the company is tight-lipped about the number of patents sold in the deal, their price or the technology around them. Some online reports claim that, Foxconn, the Taiwanese major, owns about 64,000 patents.
