Garuda Aerospace recently collaborated with Spirit Aeronautical Systems in 2024 for weaponised drones and signed an MOU last month with Thales to enhance India’s drone sector. In FY24, the company earned a revenue of about INR 1 billion. It has been reported that a substantial amount of it is being utilised for the company’s overseas business growth.
Garuda Aerospace also claims to be India’s first drone company to receive dual Directorate General of Civil Aviation’s (DGCA) approvals for manufacturing small and medium drones and pilot training. Preparing for its IPO, the company recently launched India’s first drone-exclusive showroom in Chennai. Additionally, it delivered 445 Kisan drones under the ‘NaMo Drone Didi’ scheme, reinforcing its leadership in agricultural drone adoption.
