Evify, a Surat-based EV logistics firm, has confirmed a seed round of Rs 8 million from angel investor We Founder Circle. The funds raised in this round will be used largely for technological development, team building, and scaling out the company’s operations. Evify wants to deliver end-to-end green logistics services to all of the country’s e-commerce heavyweights. Eveeto is Evify’s logistics solutions division, and it solely uses EVs for delivery. Evify intends to expand its platform by integrating Geofencing, customised BMS, telematics, client analytics, and driver & fleet management. Until April 2022, the platform has logged over 3,000,000 green kilometres and 50,000 green deliveries.
Evify has managed to land several huge partnerships with various leading industry giants. Which includes the company’s partnership with Swiggy, BigBasket, and Hero Electric. Evify has partnered with Swiggy to deliver their food orders through EVs in Surat. As per its partnership with Hero Electric, the company has signed an MOU to purchase 1000 electric scooters in two years.
“This is a great start to the fiscal year for the company. Through this funding capital, we plan to upgrade and integrate technological advancements into our delivery operations such as geofencing, BMS, and fleet management,” said Devrishi Arora, Founder and CEO, Evify.
“We are focused on setting our strong foot in Surat in the coming months through this funding round and develop our SOPs for expansion in multiple cities which includes Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Rajkot,” said Pragya Mittal, Co-Founder and CMO, Evify.
Evify Logitech plans to make the country’s last-mile delivery electric and environmentally benign. With an emphasis on sustainability, the platform is trying to improve the EV value chain. The establishment intends to rebuild the EV logistics sector with a specific emphasis on driver safety and security, as well as to make continuous efforts to go carbon negative and to expedite technological support for client partners and employees.
