EV Motors has signed an agreement with BSES Yamuna Power Ltd. (BYPL) to set up and operate charging stations for EVs at select locations under the jurisdiction of BYPL. EV Motors is planning to establish an e-mobility eco-system in the country. It includes providing a connected network of PlugNgo EV charging stations and a software platform that will include a payment system for accessing the e-charging facility. The two will jointly work to create, operate and maintain charging infrastructure by using PlugNgo’s cloud-based integrated software platform.
Charging stations in East and Central Delhi
P R Kumar, CEO, BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) said that charging infrastructure for EV vehicles is the need of the hour. BYPL is working with strategic partners to facilitate the setting-up of charging stations in East and Central Delhi.
EV Motors has launched its public EV charging outlet under the brand ‘PlugNgo’ in DLF Cybercity, Gurugram. It aims to install over 6500 charging outlets, each with multiple charging stations across cities, businesses and residential complexes over the next five years.
Boosting the charging infrastructure in the capital
