EV COSMOS has teamed up with ChargeNET Sri Lanka to provide electric vehicle charging solutions in India. ChargeNET is a group company of a UK-based CodeGen group with a manufacturing facility at Sri Lanka. The company plans to set up 500 EV charging stations in India with 50 Megawatt capacity over two years.
Harsha Subasinghe, Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Codegen International, UK said that they shall be providing IOT enabled fast charging solutions on strategic locations in cities, highways and hotels among others where EVs shall be charged in 15-30 minutes.
Forays into B2B and B2C segments of EV charging solutions in India
This will help fleet owners to move towards electric vehicles seamlessly. He added that it is looking forward to integrating solar power into charging stations with the motto of ‘’ Clean and Green Technologies for a sustainable future. Pramod Geetey, managing director, EV COSMOS India said the company will continue to make strong forays into B2B and B2C segments of EV charging solutions in India.
