Epson has launched two new EcoTank printers that promise to maximise savings by offering the lowest cost per print in the market
Epson has rebranded its InkTank printer as EcoTank to accelerate the awareness and benefits of its Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS). The new tag will now be carried in every InkTank printer in a bid to define the printing solutions provider’s core economic value.
Siva Kumar, General Manager, InkJet Printers, Epson India said that InkTank printers had always been synonymous with the brand Epson. He added, “We have changed the dynamics of the printing market completely with our revolutionary printers. EcoTank now defines the next level of low-cost printing.”
Quality printing
Epson’s EcoTank printers cater to home, office and commercial applications with a range of monochrome and colour printers. The printers offer an alternative to laser and cartridge printers in terms of lowering overall total cost of ownership, savings in energy consumption and reduced impact on the environment.
New printers launched
Epson has launched two new integrated EcoTank printers. The newly launched L3110 and L3150 EcoTank printers will replace the flagship models – L380 and L405 respectively. These come with an integrated ink tank in a compact size.
These, Epson claims, will continue to maximize savings by offering the lowest cost per print in the market of 7 Paise for black and 18 Paise for CMY colour, giving consumers the freedom to print without worrying. Each set of ink bottles provide an ultra-high yield of 4,500 black prints and 7,500 colour prints.
Priced between Rs. 11,000 and 15,000, Epson EcoTank printers can save up to 80 per cent on ink with low-cost replacement bottles. Spill-free and error-free refilling are the pros of the new range. The bottles have an extremely small footprint compared to the older models with unique nozzles that fit into their respective tanks only.
The new EcoTank printers print at a high printing resolution of 5760 dpi, delivering exceptionally high-quality prints. The printers offer fast print speeds of up to 10ipm for black and 5.0ipm for colour. Additionally, the new models are capable of printing borderless photos up to 4R. Epson has offered a 1 year or 30,000 prints warranty for the new printers.
Epson is a leader in Inkjet brand in India with a sale of over 30 million EcoTank printers worldwide and over 3 million in India since its launch in 2011. It also deals with 3LCD projectors, watches and industrial robots, visual communications and wearables.
