Enel Green Power, Sharp and STMicro electronics sign agreement

Enel Green Power, Sharp and STMicroelectronics have signed a binding commitment letter for a project financing agreement for 150 million Euros to be supported by the CIPE (Italian Joint Ministerial Committee for Economic Planning). The goal is to start operations at a factory in Italy’s Catania region for the integrated production of innovative PV cells panels in the second half of 2011 and generate 500 MW.
