Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot said an electronics manufacturing cluster will be developed at Salasar near Tapukara by the Electronic Association of India. The chief minister said the industrial enclave will come up on over 100 acre land and will accommodate 40-50 units, inviting an investment of Rs 500 crore. The zone is estimated to generate 20,000 jobs. This was announced during the unveiling of the state budget.
The populist state budget didn’t disappoint the industry as the chief minister announced a slew of proposals to accelerate industrialization, attract investments and generate jobs. Moreover, the chief minister also sought to simplify the system of tax filing for traders, expecting the initiative would further augment revenue collection.
