Electronic Industries Association of India ‘ELCINA’ Raaga Mayuri Electronics Park will possibly engage over eight units that will make electronic components for defence and aerospace sectors, among others. The 50 acre industrial park has already attracted three units.
The Electronics park has already received in-principle approval from Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY).
Raaga Mayuri Electronics Park was developed by KJR group in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. This park was made in partnership with ELCINA and it is located alongside National Highway–7 at Chilamathur village near Hindupur.
According to reports, KJR Group is spending around 500 million on infrastructure, among the first ones in the private sector in the country. Mysore based Vinyas IT, which provides electronics manufacturing services has come forward to set up two units. One of it will be by DCX, its joint venture with the US based company. They make hind-end wires for defence and aerospace sector.
Vinyas Innovation Technologies has two (EHTP & DTA) manufacturing facilities in Mysore, offering technologically advanced electronics manufacturing services. The company supplies electronic components to three Israel based defence companies which provide equipment to Indian defence forces.
