Ecoppia to deploy E4 robotic system in a solar power plant in Madhya Pradesh.
The Israeli provider of water-free solar panel cleaning robots, Ecoppia said it will deploy an E4 robotic system at the site of a 325-MW solar power plant in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
Spring Energy Private Ltd is the developer of the particular solar project, having won it in an auction with a bid of INR 2.97 (USD 0.043/EUR 0.037) per kWh that was record low at the time.
Ecoppia will equip the site with a robotic system that is expected to help the solar plant save over 1 billion litres of water and lower its operating expenses drastically. Eran Meller, CEO of Ecoppia, commented that the company is looking forward to extending its partnership with the Actis Group, owner of the Sprng platform, to additional regions.
