Dimmable LED PAR20 and PAR30 bulbs on sale now at LEDWaves.com

Thursday, February 06, 2014: New York City lighting supplier and manufacturer LED Waves has announced a two-week sale on two of their exclusive energy-saving LED PAR lamps. Both 9 Watt replacements for 75 Watt halogen spot light bulbs, the Dallas™ Dimmable PAR20 and the Chicago™ Dimmable PAR38 are among the most consumer-friendly products from the full line of LED lights made in the USA exclusively by LED Waves.

Online customers at LEDWaves.com will save 15% on the Dallas LED PAR20 and/or the Chicago LED PAR30 with coupon code WAVES. This discount expires on Tuesday, February 18th 2014; and may also be applied to orders placed over the phone at 1-800-986-0169.

The dimmable Dallas LED PAR20 and the Chicago LED PAR30 are virtually identical in performance specs because both are built with 7 of the same LEDs. These high-powered LEDs are designed to double lumens per dollar, maintaining exceptional lumen maintenance and color rendering well past the industry standard’s 30,000 hours of operation. Dimming also contributes to extended lamp life. The Dallas PAR20 and the Chicago PAR30 are dimmable using standard incandescent dimmers.

LED Waves places heavy emphasis on thermal management, as demonstrated by the intricately shaped heat sink on each of their LED bulbs made in the USA. The Dallas LED PAR20 and the Chicago LED PAR30 feature heat sinks machined out of lightweight, aircraft grade aluminum. This measure prevents overheating the electronics, ensuring a long lifespan for the entire unit. Both bulbs are designed, assembled, and tested by LED Waves’ in-house team to provide the quality assured by the company’s 5 year warranty.

The most significant difference between the Chicago and the Dallas is their size, which is determined by industry standard sizes for PAR lamp fixtures. (The number following PAR, multiplied by 1/8 of an inch, signifies the diameter of the light head.) The Dallas PAR20 is 2.5 inches in diameter, while the Chicago PAR30 is 3.75 inches in diameter. PAR lamps of these dimensions are used interchangeably for track lighting, recessed downlight cans in the ceiling, and other common spotlight fixtures.

Factory-direct specification help, including large-quantity discounts and customizations across the entire LED Waves lighting line, is available by calling 1(800)986-0169.
