- This fleet expansion aligns with the region’s focus on reducing carbon emissions, promoting clean energy, and building a greener transportation infrastructure
With the aim of meeting the rising demand for eco-friendly transportation solutions, the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) plans to add 200 electric buses to its Mo Bus service. This expansion will bring the total fleet count to 605 buses and enable enhanced coverage across the capital region, including Cuttack and Puri.
CRUT, which currently operates 50 electric buses, has announced its intention to order additional electric buses to support this fleet expansion. By introducing more routes and extending transportation coverage, CRUT aims to provide convenient and sustainable options for residents and commuters.
The move towards electric buses aligns with the region’s focus on reducing carbon emissions and promoting clean energy. The introduction of these electric buses not only enhances the public transportation system but also encourages the adoption of eco-friendly travel.
