Comio, a smartphone brand of Topwise Communications, is the latest brand from China to enter into the Indian market. The brand aims to cater mid-level segment in India which is the fastest growing segment.
Comio has launched three smartphones priced between Rs 6,000 to Rs 15,000. The three phones being launched in India include Comio P1, Comio S1 and Comio C1. Comio P1 is priced at Rs 9,999, Comio S1 is for Rs 8,999 while the Comio C1 will be available for Rs 5,999.
Common features across all smartphones include 64-bit quad core processors, dual SIM slot, expandable storage, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS. All phones will come out of the box with the latest Android 7.0 and there will be no bloatware preloaded. All phones come with preloaded security solution including Antivirus, Anti-theft and intruder selfie feature. Jio users will get extra 20GB data with Comio smartphones.
The phones will be available via retail stores initially and will be available in online portals after few weeks. Comio had announced earlier that they plan to invest Rs 500 crore in the Indian smartphone market. The company is launching with over 15000 retail outlets and over 400 after sale service centers.
