BYD India has joined forces with OHM E Logistics to distribute 300 e6 electric passenger cars throughout India over the next half-year. The initial phase will involve supplying 50 of these cars to Hyderabad.
Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, the Senior Vice President of Electric Passenger Vehicles at BYD India, expressed that delivering these 300 e6 electric cars within the forthcoming six months showcases their dedication to curbing carbon emissions and fostering electric transport.
Nirmal Reddy, the Founder and Chairman of OHM E Logistics, mentioned that this initiative aligns with their goal of broadening the e-mobility network throughout India, initiating in Hyderabad and eventually reaching international levels.
The e6 is equipped with a 71.7 kWh Blade battery and boasts a potential distance of 415 km after one full charge. Moreover, its 70kWh electric engine provides 180 Nm of torque and can reach speeds up to 130km/h.
