Bridgestone India has teamed up with Tata Power to set up EV chargers for cars at its dealerships throughout India. These chargers will be available around the clock. Tata Power is deploying 25/30 kWh DC fast chargers, which can charge a car within an hour, serving 20-24 vehicles daily. The inaugural charger was launched at Bridgestone’s Super Tyres Select Store in Shirur on the Pune-Ahmednagar route, open for all car EVs.
Rajarshi Moitra, Bridgestone India’s Chief Commercial Officer, mentioned that the rise of electric vehicles in India reflects the company’s commitment to supporting journeys. Their collaboration with Tata Power showcases their dedication to offering sustainable mobility solutions, with the non-stop charger operation allowing flexibility for EV owners.
