Friday, November 08, 2013: Borg Energy India Private Limited has unveiled the Borg Astra Plus Home Series, which is a range of fully loaded micro solar power plants, designed to meet the energy needs of domestic households.
Renowned squash player, Dipika Pallikal unveiled the ‘Smart Grid’ technology enabled Power Controller Units (PCU) dubbed Borg Astra Plus Home Series recently. The pricing of the solution starts from Rs Rs 50,000.
According to company claims, the fully loaded Borg Astra Plus Home Series generates maximum power output which is a significant improvement over its earlier Borg Astra Home Series.
The Borg Astra Plus Home Series comes in four variants namely 500BX, 1000ZXI, 1500ZXI and 2500ZXI, which promises to save up to 60 per cent of households electricity bills. This is especially useful in dealing with massive power shortages with its conversion efficiency of 98 per cent and less than 3 milli seconds transfer time.
