BLive Plans To Add 10,000 E2W And E3W By March 2025

BLive intends to strategically partner with e-commerce aggregators to acquire fleet vehicles, which will be utilized by gig economy workers.

Bengaluru-based e-mobility company BLive is targeting the addition of 10,000 electric vehicles to its platform during this financial year while strengthening its collaborations with food and e-commerce aggregators.

BLive, primarily linking fleet operators with online delivery services, already manages nearly 5,000 electric vehicles, with about 1,000 part of its BLive EZY program. This initiative enables virtually anyone to own EV fleets that are subsequently leased to other businesses.

In addition to expanding its two-wheeler offerings, the company also aims to introduce three-wheelers to its lineup to quadruple its revenue to Rs 100 crore by March 2026. Fleet rentals currently dominate as its main source of income, according to company officials. As the e-commerce sector grows beyond metropolitan areas, BLive is methodically planning to bring on board e-commerce food aggregators to acquire fleet vehicles for gig economy workers to use.

The company has received approximately USD 2.5 million from investors such as DNA Networks, LetsVenture, Trescon, and Mumbai Angels. Management is now preparing to raise an additional USD 5 million in Series A funding from both existing and new investors, including family offices of major corporations, micro VCs, sector-focused VCs, and strategic investors. The funds raised will be used to improve the company’s technological infrastructure across five states, focusing on cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune.

Samarth Kholkar, CEO and Co-founder of BLive mentioned that the company is poised to solidify its presence in the two-wheeler rental market while also launching into three-wheeler EV rentals and first- and mid-mile logistics operations. The company is set on refining and optimizing fleet management by ensuring seamless integration for generating demand, which allows fleet operators to maximize asset use in various operational settings.

Samarth highlighted the advantages of their plug-and-play capabilities, which enhance fleet efficiency and revenue opportunities. The company offers fleet operators cost-effective financing options and a diverse range of multi-brand EVs, supported by their comprehensive Smart Fleet Management Solution to boost operational efficiency and fleet utilization.

BLive also maintains a network of centralized EV Hubs, which act as service and charging stations for its fleet operators. The company has established more than 70 partnerships and continues to expand its fleet operator base across five cities.
