EV startup BattRE Electric Mobility has launched a new model of electric scooter called LoEV. The scooter comes in the premium entry-level segment. Nischal Chaudhary, founder of the company said that BattRE Electric Mobility is confident of doubling its throughput at existing dealers with the launch of LoEV. He added that this will also drive the company’s our entry in the new geographies like UP, Bihar, MP and Rajasthan in the next two quarters.
The company has priced the electric scooter at Rs 59,900 (ex-showroom). It will sell the scooter in six colours through Amazon India and BattRE stores in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Gujarat.
Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery
The scooter comes with dual disc brakes, remote key, anti-theft alarm, reverse gear, wheel immobilizer. It also features a 10 AMP fast charger, two hours charging time and a detachable Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery. The battery comes with three years of warranty.
The company launched its first electric scooter BattRE-One in June 2019. It catered to the premium mid-segment. It has increased its distribution channel to over 50 dealers in six states. This covers South India, Maharashtra and Gujarat. BattRE is being incubated with Sangam Ventures. This investor specialises in clean technology investments.
