Blaze Automation, a company that builds smart home automation and security products, today announced the B.One Hub in India.
The smart home control system includes a range of sensors and smart devices that allow users to control security, ambience, and entertainment in their living spaces. The ecosystem prices start at Rs 15,000 and will be available in India starting August.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi with his ‘smart cities’ initiative aims to make Indian cities more technologically advanced. Blaze Automation CEO Sridhar Ponugupati said that it is not possible to build smart cities, without smart homes.
The popular notion with smart products is that they are expensive and the B.One Hub is aimed at breaking down that presumption. As Ponugupati explains, it is possible to make a two-bedroom apartment smart and secure with investment between Rs 20,000 – Rs 25,000, whereas fully automating it (including switches) could go up to Rs 1 lakh.
