The program is FlyRoute’s way of empowering entrepreneurs to launch their own drone business.
FlyRoute, a drone service provider specialising in athletics, has recently launched its Service Partner Program. This program is designed to foster entrepreneurship by enabling individuals to own and operate a FlyRoute service territory, marking the company’s strategic move towards national expansion.
Collin Caffrey, the founder and president of FlyRoute, shared his excitement about the new program. He emphasised the goal of equipping motivated business leaders with the necessary tools and support to fast-track their success in the drone business. Reflecting on his own journey, Caffrey noted the growth from purchasing his first drone in 2017 to now managing a fleet of over 45 drones. He underscored FlyRoute’s significant role in supporting more than 550 sporting events annually and providing a stable revenue source.
The Service Partner Program is FlyRoute’s way of empowering entrepreneurs to launch their own drone business. Caffrey’s vision for the program is to collaborate with hard working entrepreneurs dedicated to implementing best practices in establishing and scaling a successful drone business. The application period for this program began on January 3rd, 2024, and is set to conclude on March 1st, 2024.
Since its inception, FlyRoute has established a strong presence in the drone film services sector, particularly catering to athletic programs in Colorado. The company’s unique and effective approach in providing drone film services has garnered substantial growth, with an annual increase of 30% or more. This growth is not only reflected in their financial success but also in their contribution to the job market, having created seasonal contracted positions for over 65 FAA-rated drone pilots.
Drone film, primarily used for coaching purposes in athletic programs, has seen expanding applications in areas like college and professional recruiting, broadcasting, and sports analysis. FlyRoute, predominantly serving high school football programs, aims to extend its services to collegiate and professional levels and to other sports, including lacrosse, soccer, and rugby.
Committed to its mission of equipping athletic programs with cutting-edge drone technology to enhance their competitive edge, FlyRoute maintains a team of only FAA-rated, skilled, and experienced drone pilots. The company prides itself on being fully insured and compliant with FAA regulations. Since 2017, FlyRoute has safely conducted over 1,850 sporting events for 85 teams, maintaining an impeccable record of safety and efficiency.
