Marking second launch within two months, Astrum is also planning to invest Rs 100 Cr to set up a manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh
Hong Kong-based Astrum has announced the launch of its barrel-shaped portable outdoor speaker ST-400. Equipped with wireless microphone, Astrum ST400 is perfect for “entertaining or addressing large crowds.”
Commenting on the launch, Manoj Kumar Pansari, Chairman and Managing Director, Astrum India said, “Our newest Barrel Speaker ST400 is an ideal portable karaoke wireless speaker with microphone and some additional innovative aspects to meet the desires of our consumers, brimming with endless entertainment. We are also planning several new technologies exclusive to the audio category, which is where we want the consumers to experience the difference with Astrum.”
Announced at MRP Rs 7,490, Astrum ST400 is already available on Amazon India and offline retail stores.
Astrum’s 2nd launch in just 2 months
Astrum ST400 speaker is the second launch by the Hong Kong based company in just two months time. It had earlier launched TM085 trolley speaker in the country. Astrum had also revealed about its association with London and China based LKKER Innovation.
Manoj Kumar Pansari, Director, Astrum India, speaking about the association with Lkker Innovation had said, “The partnership with LKKER Design further paves the way for our objective of becoming a design benchmark, as it enables us to create synergies that help us continue to develop the best designs for our products.”
Astrum ST400 wireless speaker features
This latest speaker from Astrum boosts sound output through 25 Watt RMS power. Sporting a barrel design, the speaker comes equipped with three woofers that Astrum claims offer high-sensitivity and dynamic range, with immersive stereo sound experience.
The LED Display shows control information and working status. Astrum ST400 speaker comes with multi-functional connectivity like BT / Micro SD/USB/AUX and supports FM. The portable speaker also has media controls, volume controls on the side. Equipped with a built-in 3000 mAH rechargeable battery, the speaker promises a playtime of up to 6 hours with just a single charge.
Astrum’s future plans
Astrum is also planning to invest Rs 100 crore in order to set up a manufacturing plant in Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh. It is believed that the plant once developed will be used to manufacture audio devices, LED lights, accessories for mobile, computer components and gaming controllers.
