The company has bagged Pune-based MAXIM Precision Technologies as franchise partner for its DEK stencils.
The franchisee’s sister company MAXIM SMT has been active for several years as a distributor of DEK printing solutions and stencils in New Delhi.
The new agreement now expands this successful relationship to the region around the Pune and Mumbai metropolitan areas in southern and western India.
According to the contract, MAXIM Precision Technologies is now permitted to produce and sell DEK stencils under license, including the laser-cut VectorGuard stencils that are optimized for fine-pitch applications.
“The Indian electronics manufacturing industry is highly dynamic. Together with MAXIM Precision Technologies we are now making it easier for electronics manufacturers in western India to benefit from our market-leading DEK stencil technologies. From our long-term sales partnership in New Delhi we know that we have gained with MAXIM Precision Technologies an experienced and wellconnected
partner in this region who can produce top-quality stencils and provide our customers with excellent support products and services,” says Senior Manager, Process Support Products Global Sales and Distribution, Rick Goldsmith.
The franchise agreement permits MAXIM Precision Technologies to manufacture ASM’s DEK stencils in its own facilities for electronics producers in the region.
The company’s products will include alloyed and laser-cut stencils as well as stencils featuring DEK’s VectorGuard tensioning frame technology for exceptionally accurate printing results that have made ASM one of the leading
stencil providers for fine-pitch applications.
