Anritsu Corporation, one of the leading Japanese communications test and measurement solution makers has set up its subsidiary for tech center to serve its growing customer base in the Indian sub continent. This center will be fully owned by the company.
“As the new telecom policy will accelerate the industry growth, we foresee a 20 per cent increase in our India business due to growing demand for our test and measurement equipment,” said Kenji Tanaka, vice- president, Anritsu.
The Indian test and measurement market has been steadily growing over the past few years owing to the global and domestic demand, which has been the result of increasing integration of Internet connectivity, wireless communications spanning 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, bluetooth, high−fidelity audio and high definition video in consumer electronics devices, requiring new testing solutions.
“We believe in high potential growth of the Indian market and are keen to expand our global sales to synchronise their growth by providing the best test and measurement solutions, based on our existence which spans for century,” Kenji added.
The century old company has been operating in India since the 1980 and had set up its branch office in 2007 to support local customers and expand the service support capabilities. The company is present across 90 countries worldwide, where it offers testing equipment for wireless, optical, microwave/RF (radio frequency) and digital instruments and provides operations support systems for manufacturing, installation and maintenance.
