Amara Raja Batteries Limited (ARBL) has received closure orders dated April 30, 2021 for its manufacturing facilities at Karakambadi, Tirupati, and at Nunegundlapalli in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh from the AP Pollution Control Board (APPCB) for ‘flouting norms’, the company said in a regulatory filing. It said that it is reviewing the orders and will take all necessary steps as may be necessary and available to protect the interests of all stakeholders.
