The centre will provide customers with a hands-on experience of technology solutions, ranging from simulation and design to high-performance computing, data analytics, and AI.
Altair, a global leader in computational science and artificial intelligence (AI), introduced its newly established Innovation Experience Centre. The Altair Innovation Experience Centre, located at Altair Engineering, 701-8, City Towers, Dhole Patil Road, Pune 411001, features applications related to digital twin, lightweighting, and seamless connectivity to virtual reality, and will demonstrate these technologies’ practical application in design innovation.
Vishwanath Rao, the managing director for India and the GCC at Altair, stated that the centre will provide prospects and customers with a hands-on experience of Altair’s technology solutions, ranging from simulation and design to high-performance computing, data analytics, and AI.
He added that it will also allow visitors to have direct interaction with in-house experts, enabling them to gain a comprehensive understanding of Altair’s solutions and how the convergence of such technologies impacts product development.
Altair has a comprehensive digital twin offering, which is considered the market’s most complete end-to-end digital twin solution for both physics-based and data-based twins.
The design centre offers expertise in technological advancements such as leveraging Digital Twin technology, transitioning vehicle suspension systems to advanced composites like carbon fibre for lightweighting, optimising drone flight by balancing weight and strength, bridging the visualisation gap.
This happens through the integration of finite element analysis with virtual reality, accelerating leaf spring suspension simulations using Reduced Order Modeling AI (RoMAI), and addressing Multiphysics engineering challenges in the development of self-balancing e-Mobility through 3D vehicle and control modelling.
