Ultraviolette Automotive, a pioneering company in electric vehicle platforms and battery technology, has announced the strategic addition of Ajay Shanker as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ajay brings a wealth of experience from his 25-year tenure in financial roles across esteemed organizations such as Schneider Electric, IIM Bangalore – NSRCEL, Aricent (Flextronics), Cannon Inc., and Yamaha Motors. His most recent position was serving as CFO for Schneider Electric’s international business GSC, overseeing regions including India, the Middle East, Africa, South America, East Asia, Japan, and the Pacific.
Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and co-founder of Ultraviolette shared his thoughts on this important development, mentioning that Ajay’s remarkable experience and strategic perspective are crucial as the company expands into a global product company with various business verticals.
