Agnisys joins the Arm Partner Program to accelerate time-to-market for complex semiconductor designs, enhancing efficiency and functional safety for advanced SoC and IP solutions.
Agnisys Inc., a provider of EDA solutions, has collaborated with the Arm Partner Program to enhance and streamline the design and verification processes for semiconductor systems. This collaboration will improve the time-to-market and efficiency of complex SoC and IP designs.
The partnership is marked by the release of Agnisys’ new solution brief, “Functionally Safe Design for Arm Based SoC Design,” which focuses on meeting the rigorous ISO 26262 standards essential for automotive systems.
The brief highlights Agnisys’ commitment to functional safety and addresses the increasing complexity of automotive technology.
Agnisys’ CEO, Anupam Bakshi, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that it will help IP and SoC companies accelerate market entry with enhanced product quality. The company’s tools, including the IDesignSpec Suite, automate critical aspects of the development process, such as requirements management, design, and validation, while ensuring compliance with ISO 26262.
Kevin Ryan, Senior Director of Partner Marketing at Arm, emphasised that this collaboration will enable mutual customers to leverage Arm’s architecture and Agnisys’ design tools to boost design capabilities and efficiency.
Agnisys’ solutions integrate essential safety features like parity and CRC checks, which are crucial for meeting safety standards in automotive systems. By automating the generation of Arm-based IP designs, Agnisys aims to reduce development times and enhance the safety and reliability of automotive and SoC designs.
