Commenting on the launch, Sudhir Tangri, country manager, Agilent Technologies Electronic Measurement Group said, “We are extremely proud of our products and are excited to host the seventh edition of Aerospace and Defense Symposium. Through this symposium—the largest gathering for scientists and innovators in India—we want to share our expertise in measurement science and test processes to address the critical needs of our aerospace and defense customers.”

“India is an extremely important market for Agilent and these new products will be beneficial for future development in aerospace and defense,” Tangri added. The event is supported by IEEE, the world’s largest professional association for the advancement of technology.

Here are the new products and solutions demonstrated by Agilent:

Agilent EEsof EDA SystemVue 2013
SystemVue is a focused EDA environment for electronic system-level design that allows system architects and algorithm developers to innovate the physical layer of next-generation wireless and aerospace/defense communications systems. It provides unique value to RF, DSP and FPGA/ASIC implementers who rely on both RF and digital signal processing to deliver the full value of their hardware platforms.

FieldFox Handheld RF and Microwave Analyzers
Agilent FieldFox handheld analyzers deliver bench-top-instrument accuracy in field-test environments. Designed for harsh conditions and hard-to-reach locations, FieldFox analyzers cover satellite communications, microwave backhaul, military communications, radar systems and a wide range of additional applications. FieldFox microwave analyzers can be configured as cable-and-antenna analyzers, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, or all-in-one combination analyzers. Each compact, 6.6-pound (3.0-kg) package is available in four frequencies: 9, 14, 18 or 26.5 GHz.

Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer (PXA RTSA)
The real-time spectrum analyzer is an upgradable option to new or existing PXA signal analyzers. A real-time PXA signal analyzer offers the widest analysis bandwidth and dynamic range to ensure maximum probability of intercept. And for deeper analysis and thorough characterization of complex signals, a real-time PXA can also be equipped with the Agilent 89600 VSA software.

PXI Signal Generator (Signal Source)
Agilent PXI signal generators deliver new levels of speed in signal generation, fast RF tuning, innovative baseband tuning and versatile list mode—all without compromising signal quality. A typical M9381A configuration includes four individual PXIe modules—M9311A digital vector modulator, M9310A source output, M9301A synthesizer, and the M9300A frequency reference—designed for fast data interfaces and high-speed automated test systems. Instrument control is provided through a soft front panel and programmatic interfaces tuned to the application and development environment of choice.

U1610A and U1620A Handheld Digital Oscilloscopes
Agilent’s U1610A and U1620A are the world’s first handheld oscilloscopes with a VGA display. With a bandwidth of 100 to 200 MHz, these handheld oscilloscopes offer floating measurement capabilities with two CAT III 600V isolated channels. With up to 2 GSa/s sampling rate and 2 Mpts memory depth, they capture more wave forms from signals such as pulse-width modulated circuit, in-rush, transient, and motor start-up sequences. The bench top-like display and dual-window zoom function allow users to easily identify problem areas and zoom in for more detailed analysis.
