Thursday, December 06, 2012: Agilent Technologies introduced a new basic spectrum analyser, the N9322C, for budget-constrained applications ranging from R&D, manufacturing, maintenance, education labs, spectrum management to bench repair and other general-purpose analyser applications.
The device offers value-added features like channel scanner, tracking generator and time-gated spectrum analysis, allowing it to keep pace with current industry trends.
The Agilent N9322C basic spectrum analyser offers a wide frequency range of 9-kHz to 7-GHz. The device’s -152dBm DANL enables viewing low-level signals easily and clearly. The device offers a ±0.1 ppm annual aging rate, allowing more accurate measurements by reducing frequency drift. It incorporates one-button powerSuite (CHP, OBW, ACPR, SEM and spectrogram), which makes power measurements and signal monitoring simple and intuitive. The device has an optional 7-GHz tracking generator with built-in VSWR bridge, supporting transmission and reflection measurements.
The Agilent N9322C features a demodulation mode for better AM, FM, ASK and FSK signal analysis. The device’s seven user-definable soft keys provide quick access to seven of the most frequently used measurement setups, making it easy to switch from one task to another.
